Red wine IGT A brilliant red wine, definitely of grat body, offering scents of black cherry, prunes and wild blackberries. The fermentation and finishing is done in small wood “botti”, accentuating the aromas of vanilla, liquorices and chocolate. Decisive but pleasing tannins make it an optimal paring with braised meat, elaborate meat dishes not to mention fine chocolate accompanied by a good cigar.

VINIFICATION AND TASTING NOTES: Wine marked by great rigour and neatness, capable of colouring the goblet with an extremely intense ruby. In Quercia Rossa 2008, matured in oak barrels for nine months and in bottle for twelve months, clear sensations of ripe cherry are perfectly fused with earthy inklings, spicy notes and refined floral and balsamic hints. Soft and warm in the palate, with thick tannins of excellent texture enhancing the fruity component in a long and pleasant finish
